This Saturday, March 8, PacaNaturals’ owners Tom & Stacey will be showcasing their animals at Coast 93.1’s Rescues on the Runway event at the Maine Mall. This is the 3rd annual rescues event and showcases adoptable animals as well as therapeutic animals. Stacey and Tom will be talking about the therapeutic qualities of alpacas (of which there are many) and the several reasons why they make a better pet than some may think. There is a growing field of therapy alpacas who are trained similarly to more traditional therapy animals like dogs and horses. Alpacas are naturally gentle and docile and spending time with them can be beneficial to all humans.
