Browse photographs of peaceful nature scenery, alpaca artisan apparel, and discounts on fiber crafting materials.
Try your hand at working with alpaca yarns. Learn how to needle felt. Absolutely free!

Emily Camp
Emily Camp is a self-proclaimed “ADD artist”, working with many mediums such as acrylic paint, water color, pencils, ink, and pastels. The mountains of Vermont and the coast of Maine offer an abundance of inspiration for Emily, and she enjoys creating vibrant colors while utilizing her technical abilities.
Join us on September 5th, and then all month long, for viewing this female artist’s work.

Kelly Ufkin
Kelly Ufkin is an artist inspired by the Impressionist era. The foremost artists of that time have taught her to capture a moment in time in a simplistic manner. They’ve also challenged her to progress as an artist, helping her to explore composition, lighting, and contrast.

Gwen Cardente
Gwen Cardente is a mom, cook, and an artist. Gwendolyn’s collection of still life paintings includes works in landscape and nature. Best known for her brilliant mosaic creations, Gwendolyn also presents various objects d’arte, children’s toys, furniture, stained glass and drawings.

Meet home-seeking dogs, cats, rabbits and more at the booths of rescue organizations from around Southern Maine.
Each rescue organization has their own adoption or foster program according to the resources, staffing, and animal breeds. The process per rescue can be learned through their website, or simply by inquiring at the organization’s booth on event day.

Christmas With Alpacas is a two-day holiday event that happens the first weekend of December. Maine alpaca farmers bring their fiber in the form of finished product for the public to peruse and purchase. Don’t forget to stop by the alpaca pen to meet some of these beautiful animals!
Crafting With Fiber
Children are able to experience alpaca fiber in a fun way! Stop by the needle felting table to try your hand at an art project created with fiber. Needle felting encourages creativity and helps people to practice their dexterity.
For younger kids, coloring sheets and wet felting fiber is available.
Refreshments
Sip some hot chocolate or hot apple cider while you walk around the greenhouse, looking at what each vendor has to offer. Special Christmas treats will also be made available.
